The Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership has redesigned its Nonprofit Good Practice Guide!
The Nonprofit Good Practice Guide is essentially an online “Google-like” database for Nonprofits.
Whether you are looking for information on fundraising, advocacy, or sample position descriptions, visit the Nonprofit Good Practice Guide and find what you need.
This tool is also very good for those that are looking for professional development resources. Emerging leaders and leaders alike can find listings of trainings under some of the topic areas, as well as information on continually developing specific skills.
Some new features include:
- Experts in Residence - Have questions about nonprofit law or facilities management? Ask our Experts in Residence. More experts will be added in the near future. Send us your questions about anything nonprofit related and our knowledgeable Guide staff will respond within 48 hours.
- Collections - Collections are groups of resources from many topic areas, specific to a hot topic or important subject. Check out our Leadership Deficit, Governance, and New IRS Form 990 Collections right now.
- RSS feeds - If you are interested in a specific topic, category or concept, track changes by clicking on the RSS feeds to add it to your favorite blog reader.
- Practices & Pitfalls and Glossary Terms - Most resources have glossary terms and practices & pitfalls attached to them. Check these out for further information on the subject you are most interested in. Practices & pitfalls have been provided by experts in the field and provided quick tips.
